Before there was lcd there were tubes
Long before we even knew what lcd was , even in 1954 there were "pocket" tv's they were big but for todays view but they were small enough to be pocket and they had tubes and were black and white.
This is a "pocket" tv of the year 1954 , it was big , but then it was very small , you could take this tv anywhere .
This is the smallest multisystem tv is 1964 , it was made by panasonic.
This was Sinclairs firs pocket tv , it was black and white and multisystem , but not so pocket , it was made in 1978.
This was the same tv but only a monitor (no tuner).
This was the improved version also multisystem and black and white but a bit smaller.
This was sinclairs wooden prototype of a flat tube tv , this is the first tv which uses the flat tube.
